Merrill Distributing is looking for a full time Bev. / Chem. Technician!
The Bev. / Chem. Technician is responsible for the timely repair of all equipment associated with Merrill Distributing Inc.’s Hot beverage program, Ware Wash and Chemical Program.
Act in a professionalism manner, following company rules and regulations, while working independently or with other employees, customers and vendors of Merrill Distributing.
Duties:
- Maintain accurate service and preventative maintenance records.
- Maintain accurate parts and equipment inventory.
- Perform customer service installations, repair and removal of specified coffee, beverage dispensing and dish washing equipment.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance. Emergency calls are based in each situation
Working Conditions:
- Position requires a candidate to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Smoke – free environment.
- Fast – paced environment, requiring standing, kneeling and moving up to 8 hours per day.
- In vehicle / driving for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time; On-Call required (very limited based on customer situation)
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic electrical and plumbing comprehension (will train)
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Have the ability to interact with a host of different personalities both within and outside of the company.
- Ability to make on the spot decisions/problem-solving that will impact business in a positive way.
- The candidate must be 18 years or older.
- Able to lift 60 lbs.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on client needs.
- LIMITED ON CALL, not life or death situations
